We lead the effort to provide safe and clean conditions for adults struggling with homelessness in Mason County.
Community Lifeline of Mason County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency providing year-round, low-barrier emergency shelter and stability, meals, hot showers, clothing, case management, peer support, job training, education, advocacy, a recovery cafe, and resource connection for individual adults who are in need with all services leading to pathways toward permanent housing. We are the only emergency shelter open to all individual adults without children in Mason County.
Originally founded as a food program and cold weather shelter providing overnight services seven months of the year, Community Lifeline was asked to convert to 24/7, year-round operations in March 2020 as part of the City of Shelton’s Emergency Declaration in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are actively working to expand our facilities to offer more beds to meet the tremendous need in our communities..
